Long Bed Of 5.5 Meters For A Couple And Their Children

5.5 Meters Long Bed For A Couple And Their Children

A former rugby player from Belfast and his wife, who is a yoga teacher, share a 5.5 meter long bed with their four children.

This may seem unusual to others, but thanks to the new room design with a 5.5 long bed , the nights have become more fun and entertaining for the whole family.

Ryan and Kim Constable got a lot of comments along the way after sharing their family nights on social media.

Their 5.5 meter long bed is the main character in their spread. The couple has four children: Corey (11), Kai (9), Maya (6) and Jack (5).

They all six share the giant bed, which has been designed by both parents for comfort and entertainment for all the family members.

A spacious room, a double bed, a medium bed, and a single bed are the perfect components to change the way you go to bed, for both parents and children.

Everyone will definitely ask where this idea came from? It all started when the oldest child, Corey, came up with a comment.

Corey told his siblings that when he was younger, he spent most of his time sleeping with his parents. This comment started a wave of jealousy and questions from his younger siblings.

But the family dynamics had already been established. As the children grew, they moved into their own rooms. When the next baby was born, it was the only one who shared a bedroom with the parents.

What the parents did not expect was that their older children would also like to sleep with them in the same room, instead of sleeping alone.

That’s how they decided to make a super bed. A place they could share at night where they could read stories, play and talk about their day before bedtime.

The publication of their refurbished bedroom triggered many comments. Several different media contacted Kim, the mother, to inquire into all the details of their new idea. This also included questions about how she and her husband were able to enjoy their time as a couple.

In a TV interview with the program This Morning , Kim told that the biggest advantage of their new system is that her nights are no longer so hectic.

She does not have to go from room to room to check that all her children are well.

“Some people tend to think that you stop being a parent at 8pm when your kids go to bed. They believe that children should be placed in a dark room all alone so that they can sleep through the night, but in reality you do not always have to do that, ”says Kim in his interview.

She also explains that in her home there are no pre-established routines – it all happens naturally. When it comes to bedtime, they let each child fall asleep at their own pace.

The parents usually go to bed at 21-23; the older children go to bed at 20-21 o’clock.

What about intimacy after going to bed?

One of the concerns that arises from this setup is: when does the couple have time to be alone?

They are both athletes with a busy schedule and they share a bed with their kids at night. For many, it seems impossible that they are able to find a suitable time to be intimate.

But in the interview, Kim explains that the couple is very open to their children about this issue. They often go to bed together in the guest room, so they can have some moments of “adult intimacy”.

Besides that, they are also looking for time that they can spend together alone. They reserve one day a week for breakfast or dinner together alone. This helps them spend time together as a couple.

This topic has undergone analysis and critique. Kim has had to defend her idea, given the scientific benefits it provides.

Kim says: “Science and research have shown that early independence actually creates addiction. Children who are forced to grow up and be independent before they are ready can actually become scared people who essentially want to go back to the security of childhood. ”

Their controversial postings have certainly been thought-provoking to other parents. However, not all parents are busy making a 5.5 meter long bed.

The key is to identify your children’s needs. Take care of them and give them the freedom and confidence to be independent people in the future.

You always have to be careful and present during their upbringing.
